Y'know, something occurs to me: I'm surprised Daryil would simply let one of his Clanners go if he was reasonably certain that they were out for blood or worse.
Also, have we seen Mr. Blood-Red Feathers before? Or was he just made up for the sake of this page.

As for letting him go, keep in mind that Daryil usually tries to avoid an authoritarian approach to what his children get up to. Stopping someone who wants to leave from leaving because of something they haven't done - but might - is an ethical landmine.
