I like how Jinx is completely not shy here. I guess he's more confident when he's in his element.

...don't the other gods renounce you if you say you follow Jake, as happened with Peony?  Referring to him as "god of dreams" probably wouldn't change that...

Having to hide a core aspect of yourself or risk death would make one a little anxious I think.

Jinx's anxiety stems from other things; being a trickster is the source of his confidence. And much easier to be confident when wrapped in an illusion
