I was going to ask why Leo switched to human form and grabbed the punt if he wants another go at taking out Ra... but it looks like the only way to get to the front door is by boat.
Not terribly great architecture, to be honest... things like venice tend to sink and have big problems if the water level rises.
That said, I'd be surprised if the door is lion-proof.
