Title: 2016/04/18 [DMFA #1658] - Run awaaaay

Discretion would seem to be the better part of valour in this instance.  The further you are from Lost Lake the more likely you are to survive, it would seem.

May seem like what Pegasus said... but in the end Merlitz and Nitemyste both didn't actually disappear at Lost Lake but Merlitz after leaving Lost Lake to return to adventuring and Nitemyste looking for him. Of course that doesn't make "the kill zone that makes up Destania's family (http://www.missmab.com/Comics/Vol_728.php)" any safer and especially Pyroduck has a say in this because of the choice (http://www.missmab.com/Comics/Vol_1363.php) he was given by his Phoenix friends...

About Peg's statement that he isn't the brightest guy - At least he was smart enough not to chop Alexsi's head off, when Nitemyste was going to.

If it's his hair you're interested in, Kria has a very similar style. Are you sure you aren't more interested in his abs? ;)

It isn't so much running away as it is a strategic withdraw as to not end up like Merlitz of Nite.

An example of having a higher Wisdom than Intelligence, he had the wisdom to want to make sure they weren't going to kill an innocent person (especially wise considering how readily available shapeshifting magic is either to learn or to purchase).
