He was a vulcan. Those look sharp, I really hope it was just a knock-out pinch.

Woohoo! #2 post!

Is it just me or does anyone else find it cute how Anna's right ear always perks up when she's surprised? :3

..his subtlety, despite his stature, the nature of his job and his looks, is utterly admirable. I wonder if that particular knight would care to have some tea?

Hmm ... seems like he didn't kill her.

Thats ... kinda unexpected from a Death Knight.  :kruger

Looking at the last image of the comic before I had feared she was a goner.

I bet it would have, if it still had a mouth. "I have no mouth and I want to have some tea". Also, I like how the Knight's fingers appear to twitch a little in the last panel. It wants to knock out more people! >:3
Anyway, the battle between Daniel and the Death Knight is at hand. I bet it will be interrupted by Shanna and Aliyka, though. :3

Depends.  It may have been instructed/programmed to bring them before the Pegasus.

But it will have to fight them (well, fight Dan, at least) to capture them now that they have noticed it. And Shanna with Aliyka still may accidentally incapacitate it during their fight. >:3

Aliyka and Shanna, perhaps.  But the others are going to have problems fighting it.  Hannah has some amount of magic, but only one leg.  Dan's sole possessions are a dress, a robe and that flower thing in his hair.

Oh. Right. :3 I kind of forgot that Dan can't go all "Fist of the North Star" on the Death Knight.. :animesweat Dan still can try to bribe the Knight with a flower (it didn't help Aliyka, though)! :B

    8)  Seems this Death Knight is starting to use an easier way to deal with resistance. ( Or is this another type of D.P.' s endless list of 'unusaul' security employees ? )

So, who taught the death knight the vulcan grip of death?!
I know that doesn't come standard issue.

I still like the freelance masseuse comment, it helps enforce the subtly of the attack.

I can't wait to see the horrific outcome of this flashback.
I can't wait to see if this is the start of Dan's love for the Amazon.

Unlikely... remember his reaction in 885.  What amazes me is that he still loves them afterwards, given that of these amazons, one is dead, one is a dragon (and we don't know what Anna's secret is yet, if any).

Hey, they may still not have searched him, he could still have a sword or two inside his robe.

*Charline hiss*  Pshaw!  Subtlety is wasted time!  Dramatic hacking and slashing, creating random patterns of blood spray and tissue bits is far more artistic!  Express yourself through the savagery of mutilating ones' victims!  Just look at Sweeny Todd.  The gushing of pulsing veins, the gutteral gurgle of ebbing life, the slumping blood-stained form of the dying.  Such emotion!  Such brutal, impulsive primal passion!  It's art!

*Charles is reminded of the artistic debate between Sasori and Deidara... two cold-blooded killers of the Akatsuki in Naruto*  Only it's much scarier with Ink and Charline.   :eek   It does seem to me that DP would command the Death Knight to take them alive, seeing as how he still needs them for whatever he's planning.  However, if it realizes Dan is a guy, I think the rule will be to destroy utterly.

Somehow I don't think an DeathNight would be afraid of tongs... butter on the other hand. Well that depends on if it's just flavored margarine or real butter.
Fabio needs to butt out of this one.

I love Dan's eye-sockets in the final panel. He's adorably pathetic.

and nobody noticed it was also a reference to 'carry on'

in addition, i wonder if theres some kind of problem between undead and death knights- i would think one would have power over the other but im not sure which way
