The newer games were better, since at least then he was fighting for a kingdom... and it was at least partially his fault all this shit came to be. In the early ones, it's just like, "shit dude, go find some other girl."

Well, in the newer series she aint bad looking... However, the newer series doesn't really count, in my opinion, as the same game series as the old one. For one, it's not frustratingly hard, and for another, you actually feel like there's some purpose to what you're doing.
