Right in a heap!
That's why she changed her appearance...the 4-foot hair would've looked odd in town... :U
Who da wut now?
Cheets ?
"Friends" quotations? In my DMFA? It's more likely than you think.
oh wow... it all makes sense.
The Mabslandness, why she changed her appearance (she must have just met up with Cheets (dunno?) at the cafe to talk at that point) suddenly, and she must totally just be a "normal human" in that world.
Oh Amber, you sly dog you.
So um, yeah. Confused :mowdizzy
But loving every minute of it!
Figured a human would cause a stir in that world. Unless it's another dimension :bunny
Yeah, I'm way off base I bet.
..... well that was odd. But at least they didn't go to that pocket dimension where they would get eaten by the Langoliers.
:erk <i>That<\i> I was not expecting.
"You're daughter is a horrible human being." Poor things, they look sick. That's what you get for messing with the space-time continum.
Also, did something else happen to Lorenda? Or has she just been lying there for five minutes?
There's another human back there! Are we in a universe where humans and furres co-exsist? Or is this just
...Mabsland?
QuoteAlso, did something else happen to Lorenda? Or has she just been lying there for five minutes?
Nah, that's why it's called the space-TIME continuum. She just got there herself, I'd say.
QuoteAre we in a universe where humans and furres co-exsist?
If this is the universe of Mabsland, there seems to be a bit of everything there. Personally I would have liked to see Boko... But thinking about it, this looks like a cafe, and Boko doesn't strike me as the sort who would want to go to a place that's designed for socializing...
Haha, it took me a few rereads to figure out what happened. XD
Oh Rose, you're so sneaky!
It could've been worse. They could've ended up in the Taski dimension where Griffin would hate them. :3
And who is this 'creepy snake guy'? Oh no! Voldemort! :U
Is this the begging of Mikelo comic? :U
For those who have no idea why people ask "Cheets?": Cheets! (http://www.mabsland.com/Cheets.html)
(I only thought to check there myself when I saw people here referring to her by name)
And why do I get the feeling that once Mikelo's comic takes off, we'll eventually get to see exactly that scene again, making all of us go "OHHHHHHH NOW I GET IT!" or something like that? (...unless this is just another "No, that's not character X" case again, like we had with Xander's Cubi lookalike)
When i first saw this I was like "hey, wait a second, I know that leopard girl..." but I couldn't rememberd from where. Nice nod, Amber ;)
chuckles. well played amber i didn't even see it coming.
So...I don't get it. She couldn't have been having the same conversation in both universes (unless Cheets responds to Jyrras as well), so is it just a matter of Rose ditching them, or is there something else?
Well, when I read "creepy snake guy", the first thing that pop in my mind was "Orochimaru". Anyone else think the same? :)

I think she's having two different conversations in the same place at the same time. One of those fae non-linear tricks, I suppose. :mowdizzy
I'm not exactly breaking the laws of time but I am bending them a little.

I assumed it to be one of those "We now return to our parallel world, already in progress" gigs, so Rose would sort of phase into the timeline - but she had actually been there the whole time. Sorta like shifting focus on a universal level.
Creepy snake guy? *goes back to check* It clearly must have really not meant anything to me for me to have ignored it like I did.
*snirk*
There must be so many CSG's in my life right now for it to not even phase me.

Sadly, no.
i know too many creepy snake guys for him to be the first to my mind. also i think she pulling him partly into the world she was talking to Cheets in just to mess with his mind. funny Fae.
*waits for the obligatory Fa'Lina's involved somehow post*
superposition is too confusing, I suppose an hour in the fae realm could equal one tenth of a second.

Then who would be the 'Couple'? Sasuke and Sakura? Or Naruto and Hinata?
This sort of thing always leaves me confused. I agree with Sid, I think Rose had been there the whole "time" she was talking to Jyrras and Lorenda, but then she sorted was...REALLY there at the end? I dunno my head hurts, Rose's outfit is awesome, kudos to Amber for space-time gags.
(Mab, really, keep a better rein on your kid, jeez) :mowwink
What's that disappearing above Rose?

You there!!! *points dramatically* With the canon pairings!
Let's be friends :3

I think that's just another person appearaing, who happens to be walking out of the frame at the time. It is either a bunny, or a witch's hat.
Realized why I spite Rose so much...Reminds me of my sister...

Fa'lina's involved! Somehow... :3
As far as the 'couple' goes, maybe it's referring to both Orochimaru AND Voldemort! *watches the lemon writers getting to work!* Heh heh heh. >:3
Please, they're obviously referring to the snake guy from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutanimals series.
Actually,, I thought that the reference was to Alice Cooper (http://www.sickthingsuk.co.uk/misc/snakes.php).
Cheets! :goamber Nice to see the lady again. :)
Took me a few minutes to remember where I saw that leopard girl before. 'Course, not having gone to Mabsland for almost a year was probably part of the problem. Yay Cheets!
*muses*
Hmm...if Rose is now in Cheets' world, does that mean the Censorship Pandas are walking around somewhere, too?
Rose probably has some sort of Fae multitasking skill; she did it before when she went to complain to Mab, while apparently aware enough to know that Lorenda and Jyrras were talking 'hanky panky'.
I guess she was probably there listening to Cheets talk while talking to Jyrras at the same time. That, or I could be attempting to apply logic to Fae, which is apparently a silly thing to do.
did... did Rose change her eye colour from magenta to gray? Why would she do that?
So, I came up with a theory about what's going on right after my last post, but I neither wanted to edit nor double-post.
They're quite possibly talking about roommates. (Getting them, or even just subletting)

To add to the normal-ness.
...OK, I'm lost. Where is the Cheetah girl from, as I do not recall having ever seen her before.
Aleolus:
The cheetah girl is Cheets, from Mabsland - both www.mabsland.com, Amber's art site, and the as-yet-unstarted webcomic that is to take over when DMFA finally, if ever, ends.
All clearer now? ;-]
huh? wait, but end? what you talking about boxy?
but on a less shocked note this comic was really something to me as it shown me some thing i'd only glimpsed in previous comics by amber.

Actually, I think she said that it'll take over when Abel's story ends, and it does indeed seem to be winding down.
(I am an increasingly happy boy, even if Abel isn't.)

Actually it's both. It just happens Abel's Story will likely end before DMFA does. But when DMFA ends, I'll likely fill it into the Mon-Wed-Fri slot and put something else into Saturday.

IIRC some of the more interesting things in the secret cast pages are likely to be revealed in-story in about two years or so, so I don't think it's exactly imminent. Amber has said on several occasions that there is a defined ending for the story, though.
Well, then she should change the little paragraph on the right of the donation box so that it doesn't say DMFA is ongoing.

She isn't immortal you know.
Unless an artist is, nothing is ongoing by that definition.

.. to what? "DMFA is ongoing, but will stop in four years time" ? (or whatever the number is - don't think I have an inside line on this, I'm guessing wildly.)
Last I heard, five years, if she doesn't add more story ideas on... which she's done a few times already.
FYI, Abel's story is only like halfway done.

Hmm perhaps we're better off getting spoilers out of Amber. From what she's said herself all it takes is threatening her with actual social conversation :mwaha
Five years is quite a decent amount of time.
Don't jump the ship yet.
I am a little conundrum I think... I like to know the outcomes, but I never like things to end.
(Like, I'm getting the impressiong from Naruto, the last I read it, there's only going to be about two hundred or so, perhaps, chapters left.)
Probably for the best in his case... he's forgotten how to draw women.
