The rules are very simple. You ask questions and we will provide answers. We, being members of the AP team.
No promises on what kind of answer though, it can be informative, sarcastic, misleading, non-sequitor or comical. So tally ho!
PS: Answering in the form of a question is in fact cheating and will result in extreme burnination.
Also, rhetorical questions will be answered at random. Please also note that this is standard policy for all questions, but this case warrants special attention.
Lastly and most importantly, this is NOT a forum help thread. Forum related questions will be treated as rhetorical questions. We are just as inclined to dip people in chocolate and toss them to the fire ants as answer their questions.

There is no need to threaten please, hostility only begets more of the same. Oh no, I am not good at talking with people at all, hence the disasters that plague me to this day from the DMFA forums. I have made many bad choices due to many bad life circumstances that had no business being aired on the Nice, here or anywhere. Many people will not speak to me anymore and I have been banned from certain private forums. Whether these acts are justified or not, they are still bad things to add on a resume for a negotiator.
Positions of authority are always seen as adversarial. The lack of significant moderation on the old forum and a transition to a more heavily managed one is a humbling experience. Rarely do users see the administration end of the forum experience, nor do they understand that this space and its functionality do not exist in a vacuum. All most users can see is the forum, the established rules, the content, other users and the staff. When a user goes astray, possibly due to a bad day in life, work, school, etc. they are straightened out and if extreme enough they are put in their place and sanctioned. Diplomacy would be nice, but by the time something is noticed it is usually to the severely annoying stage and staffers are people too, so things can be done a tad harsher then they probably should have been if blood pressure is running high.
It is easy for me to make such observation because I do not have to deal with such things, but it is also hypocritical as I have also been the cause of a few... many actually... things.

That's open to discussion. Some people claim that this Finnish word (http://users.tkk.fi/~jpakkane/sana.html) is the longest, but that's arguable because it does not, in fact, mean anything as a whole.

Ok, the top part your back is in pain and its not your spine, and the top of your right foot is in pain aswell, you already got your blood tested and you are relatively normal and your not suffering from any viruses or anything and don't have arthritis, pain relievers don't really work and your not a fan of drugging yourself up, oh yeah and your self esteem is relatively normal aswell, what do you do?! :mowdizzy

With the solid red eyes, I'm not sure how that would be quite possible.
Anyway. The Visual Studio 2005 C++ compiler has the ability to generate applications for Win32 (probably Win64 as well), WM2005, and PocketPC 2003. Win32 and WM2005 work. When asked to build for PocketPC 2003, it produces something which is about 25% bigger than the same application built by EVC4 and does not actually run on the target device ("This is not a valid PocketPC application").
Analysis via DUMPBIN indicates that it has created a program using the THUMB instruction set instead of ARM4. It was explicitly told via the compiler options
not to do this. Forcing it to build for ARM4T (THUMB) in the hopes that it will do the opposite to what I tell it resulting in a THUMB application anyway.
Do any of the APFs know how to knock some sense into this piece of crap?
Failing that, does anyone know how to make the EVC4 debugger not seize up when there are multiple threads in the target application?

It all boils down to Visual Studio not doing what you want it to do... which is not unusual, in my experience. Maybe you should try another compiler, better suited for building PocketPC applications.

As far as I know it's the only available compiler for WM2005. In any case, I've actually figured it out. Is it permissible to answer my own question in order to further the great fox knowledgebase?

It's interesting the way that people assume artistic ability is inherited. I actually get the same thing, but maybe it's justified considering that my grandpa is an awesome painter and singer and all sorts of artsy things and my dad plays saxophone pretty well. The fact that they jokingly argue about who gave art to you shows that they're proud of it, though! It's a good thing! :D 'Though it may get annoying.

This is the 30-seconds-to-a-minute of rough grace period that most TV programs allow for in order to help people who are recording manually (as opposed to TiVo) get their recording devices ready, run around to turn on a TV in the other room, or whatever ritualized behavior people do for shows so that there is both a) a shorted amount of time they actually need to create content for, and b) to help remind people what the frack it is they're watching.

The obvious answers are quite simple, overtly acquired power attracts attention and heroes, villains and hired assassins come to stop you, steal your power and/or to eliminate you. Thwarting these ploys are what makes it fun, matching wits against others and daring battles to the death are truly exhilarating.
I am not saying that this is the wisest way to go about things, but the subtle means isn't as much fun... far more effective though.

Well, 4 players is the absolute minimum. I'd say 5 to be safe in case one ends up dropping out. I think from 6 to 8 players would be ideal. 9 or more would make it too hard to guess.

It depends on the mushroom, how dry it is and why it's burning.
It looks good. A few pixels seem to be missing from the border of the hair when he moves forward, you could try adding them. And the background looks clear to me.

Yes, I think 2 is best, but 3 is very good too.
I would do some research in order to know more about the mushrooms I can make and then use my power AND that knowledge to create mushrooms for both cooking and production of medicines. I'd give the edible ones to everyone who wants them, and I'd eat a lot of shitake mushrooms myself (they're my favorite, and so hard to get!)

Yes, I can... but it's late and I'm tired. I've just validated an exam to be after having corrected 4 exams and fixed a problem with my computer. It's been a long day, and yesterday was even tougher.

Well, I obviously didn't get to know him, but I think he'd be too overwhelmed by the whole situation and the new environment for those 2 things to make any significant difference.

Mail armour has been around since about 1,000 B.C. or so. The term chainmail has only been in use since the 1700s or so I believe. The Celts, Gauls and many others were known to utilize it.
Who invented it exactly has been lost to history.
As for throwing the kunai, low-impact kinetic weapons of the piercing variety would be largely ineffective against properly made mail armour.

It's the one with two scouts standing on a pier. One does a little dance, up to the other, pulls out a ~4 inch long fish, and slaps the other in the face with it, then dances back to his original position. The second dances in the same manner up to the first, then pulls out a ~4 foot long fish, and slaps the other one off the pier with it.
It's one of those quick cut scenes that MP was so fond of, in between the usual madness.

Interesting, here non-homogenised can be acquired only in the country, homogenised whole milk usually has red either red or blue top/label/distinguishable markings, green for semi-skimmed, and pink, yellow or maroon for skimmed milk, lactose-free milk or milk with added calcium/iron/whatever.

There are many cheeses I like a lot. Cottage (no longer available here, sometimes my grandma goes to Chile and brings me some), Romanito, home-made Goat and Sheep cheese, Provolone, Brie, Finlandia and mild Camembert are my favorites. I also like Pategras, Reggianito, Cream cheese, Argentinian Cream/White cheese (much softer than the one in the USA), Cheddar, and most other mild cheeses.

The most important thing is to not be afraid of rejection. It is going to happen. Funny thing is that when you find your self a snuggly girl you will forget all the girls who rejected you. Works surprisingly well.

It must be a personality thing. We can all be serious or silly, but some lean more towards one and some towards the other. I often post the first answer that comes to my mind. It just so happens to be a serious answer more often than not. Then again, if the question is rhetorical or has poor grammar, it's not likely to get a serious answer from me. Not that a good serious question is guaranteed to get a valid answer either, but in my case it has a better chance of getting one.

I personally can't see how "of" would have made any sense in that question or possible rewordings. Maybe it's because I poked myself in the hand again after 14 or so years, though. "...had he have put emphasis..." doesn't sound grammatically correct to me either.

I teach as well. 4 classes of 25 folk each. Expanding the AP Army, one semester of 100 at at time.

Yes, I intend to host another round if people are still interested. I liked the latest round... except for the fact that I was so busy I didn't even had the time to read all the messages, so most of them I just copied and pasted. But I think llearch didn't try to disguise his style in his answers, nor did Cog. And the medley of questions was funny.
