Sadly, PYF was from a time long before I had any semblance of musical talent whatsoever, and about 10 years before I even thought of building a studio.
I wrote a few songs, but most of them sucked. I do have one of them on a cassette somewhere, but it was a solo performance by the lead guy and not strictly mine. The best performance we ever did was a jam in the school greenhouse (of all places), on vocals, harmonica and with myself on drums (literally a pair of upturned buckets). It was not recorded and would probably embarrass me by now if it had been.

I was originally going to make them the same colour as Josh's until I suddenly remembered PYF. I wouldn't read too much into it.

That's a small amount of motion blur. There's also a certain amount of noise added, I was trying to make it look like someone had sneaked in and taken a photo quickly before Jakob could stop them.
This was actually done a while ago, but we've been holding it in reserve in case we needed a standby strip. I think GIMP added a film-grain filter since then, but I haven't tried it.
If you'd like to see the original I can probably arrange it.
OK, now I have another question. What kind of underwear does Niall wear? :P

In all seriousness, there is a line which I don't intend to cross on the comic site. For one, Xepher.net does have terms of service. Secondly, I have friends, workmates and relations who read the thing.
Theoretically, if Ren did ever flip out and put my characters naked on FA without asking permission first, I'd bitch at him but that's about it. If he did ask permission, I'd have to think long and hard and it would probably be a case-by-case basis. What I'm not about to do is
request that he draw any.

The strip will be late. Last I heard, Ren was hoping to have access to his scanner again today, if that happens today we should have a strip up tomorrow, possibly tonight at a pinch (but unlikely). Either way, I'll post some kind of update when I have the lineart.
I now have the lineart. With luck we'll have a strip this evening, but no promises.
