... and no, not like that, Bill.
I figured, what the hey - got to get some use out of this forum ;-]
D, JoTH#29.2: nonchalant is one word.
Awesome. I'll take care of it.
Feel free to hit the archives and find any typos you can. The last time someone did that, there were only 150 comics in the archive...
... that would take weeks. I'll think about it.
Eh, as if you aren't always looking for things to do.
Pfft. I've got a damn -list-...
Put this on the list. ;)
JoTH#2.2, and also commentary at the bottom: tennant => tenant
Also, 2.1: dad => Dad
4.1: recieved => received
If you're really interested, in the commentary, "there's" => "there're"
8.3: aint => ain't, although arguable, since it should be "isn't" ;-]

More later.
So far so good. ;)

#59.1: Alucard says "I thought I'd say" - I think that's "stay"
Unicron, as in the Transformer.
Rock on, another round of typos done.
There's a transformer called Unicron?
Someone sucks at naming things.
He's from the movie, back in the 80s. Voiced by Orson Wells, if I remember...
Tales of the Fallen

*sniff* That last page is touching.
;-]
I'll have to check and see what of those comics I can edit. Sindra co-wrote that series, and I can't remember if I have all her backups.
Annoyingly, I was typing this up, got 3-4 in, and accidentally closed the window.
The Random Adventures of Frankie & Mummy:
#05.2: megalomanical => megalomaniacal, tendancies => tendencies, tryants => tyrants
#09.2: dutites => duties

#40.3: signifigant => significant
#47.1: festivites => festivities
#39 *snicker*
I've skipped the guest comics - partly because they're mostly correct anyway, and partly because you're unlikely to have anything useful in terms of the original content. ;-]
And on to CVRPG. *sigh*

Continue to post typos, but I'm not gonna edit any more until after comic 70. I don't have the originals for the first 65ish, and I haven't remade anything past comic 20... so it's a good 45, 50 comics there where I INTEND to edit them (and fix typos), but I just haven't yet.
Having all the typos in one place can't hurt, anyway.
btw, DSWC#460 - tact => tack
tact is being polite. tack is direction used in sailing. Amongst 26 other definitions.
Bah, I reject your reality!
You usually do.
If I remember, I'll fix it when I'm back home.

And your server is playing up again. :-/
They are supposed to have a fix in place to monitor and punish people that abuse the server. It may just be they haven't done the punishing yet...
How bad was it, and is it still acting up?
It was... fairly miserable, but not as bad as previously, and it's sorted itself out now.
So long as it corrects itself before too long, it's really all I can ask for.
CVRPG#687.4: direction => direction
CVRPG#689.3: praents => parents, frieghtened => frightened
DSWC#484.2: ass => add

Intro:
#004.1: alomst => almost
#008.1: resuing => rescuing
#010.1: Blaxplotation => Blaxploitation (what can I say? I read the reviews you put out...)
I even had Amber read these over. Damn.
I did note the unusually high quality of most of the work, there. ;-]
Maybe you chose the wrong proofreader? *grin*
You think I should cover any other information? Did I leave anything out that seems necessary?
I'm not sure. I probably know too much random esoteric information to be the person you should ask. :-/
I tell you what. I'll find someone who knows -nothing- about the entire thing, or D&D, and ask them if there's enough information there. That's probably a smart move. ;-]
Indeed. I'd have had Dam do it while I was witting it, since she's not a Castlevania fan, but over the years, anything she hasn't understood I've explained to her, so she has too much knowledge now.
CVRPG#745a.4: Leutenant => Lieutenant
CVRPG#745a.9: colloqualism => colloquialism, you => your
CVRPG#760.1: repetative => repetitive
ToTF#105.3: decendants => descendants

CVRPG#763.1: firled => field
TotF#107: destorying => destroying, ruins => ruin
CVRPG#778.4: damed => damned
That's not a typo. The word is Darned.
So it is. My apologies.
Eh, it's hard to tell with the font I use... ah well.
CVRPG#797.1: hwo => how
CVRPG#797.2: "and Idea" => "an idea" - although the Idea might be capitalised, for emphasis...
SF#004.3: thier => their
Oh, and CVRPG#799.1, the top two lines from the Big Red Guy are linked to, well, Link, instead.
CVRPG#799 and 1/2.4: indegestion => indigestion
the root of the word is "digest", like "reader's digest"...
SF005.1: me => be (in the third paragraph)
Bah. I knew indigestion was probably spelled wrong. I just didn't really care.
You would if you had it, though. ;-]
SF#007.2: I => It
CVRPG#806.2: sivilization => civilization
CVRPG#806.4: non-diclosure => non-disclosure
FCUK!
I _could_ suggest getting me to proof read these before you post, but I suspect you're making them after I go nap time. :-/
"Two plus two. Equals ten. In base four. I'm. Fine."
Yeah, you're asleep when I do these.
Quote from: Darkmoon on July 14, 2008, 07:07:10 AM
FCUK!
Nuff said. ;-] Albeit with slightly less enthusiasm.
CVRPG#807.2: palladin => paladin
SF#21.2: corallary => corollary
CVRPG#821: Vengence => Vengeance
CVRPG#821.1: notyattacking => not attacking, seperate => separate
SF#25.1: arithmatic => arithmetic
SF#25.2: advanaced => advanced
... which you'd think you'd have noticed, it being spelt correctly directly underneath... ;-]
*cough* this one was very well done.
CVRPG#830
Breaking News, paragraph 1: with out => without
para 2: "Although Frankie denies any chance of a reunion still" => Although Frankie still denies any chance of a reunion, distrubed => disturbed, pilgramage => pilgrimage
Exclusive Expose, column 1: "evil do-er" => evildoer
column 2: againstr => against, "towns person" => towns-person (since it's a single word, you need the hyphen to break the line...
CVRPG#836.1: Kartina -> Katrina
You said 840 had a typo, but I don't see it.
Oh, sorry.
CVRPG#840.1: his => This
CVRPG#847:
"In the case of Dracula's Castle, as small portion" => "a small portion"
"You use to to fix something large" => "use it to"
CVRPG#854.2: exploer => explore
SF#39: somwhere => somewhere
... and I'm not it, either.
SF#43.1: recuring => recurring
Both are valid words, but the former means "curing again" whilst the latter means "happening again" ...
*shakes fist* damn you English language!
It usually is.
Damned, that is.
SF#44.2: elswhere => elsewhere
Also, "nowhere" is a single word, although for spacing issues you can get away with it.
SF#44.3: aprenticeship => apprenticeship
... also .4, same typo.
SF#46.1: "No, I would" => "Now, I would"
SF#46.2: necormantic => necromantic
Oh, Spell Failure. How you always defy me.
Sad thing is, I actually read over that comic. (shakes head)
SF#48.2: assuming your my new teacher => assuming you're my new teacher
You just can't win with SF, can you?
Apparently not.
SF#49.2: Attributions on the comments are the wrong way round. You've got Katrina saying what Shaft is, and vice versa.
That _is_ Shaft, isn't it?
Yeah, it's Shaft.
Just can't win...
CVRPG#872.title: I'm sure he knos what he's doing... => knows
Nevar.
SF#52.1: mecromantic => necromantic, sscret => secret
SF#54.1: enegrgies => energies, solutipn => solution
SF#54.3: disolve => dissolve
CVRPG#880.2: greatful => grateful
CVRPG#881.1: Come => Some
SF#55.1: Gimmie => Gimme
SF#55.5: afriad => afraid
GODDAMIT. I'd gone over those too!
SF#56.1: didn'ty => didn't
SF#57.1: sacrasm => sarcasm.
Which is odd, because you got it right on the very next line... ;-]
The joys of dyslexia.
Lysdexians Untie!
SF#59.title: lealous => jealous
I'm impressed. I nearly missed that one. ;-]
I did. Fuck.
SF#60.2: laying => lying
Of course...
CVRPG#890: five, not four. Princess, Katrina, Alex, Darkmoon, Bucky, and Angel.
Unless that's deliberate, on grounds of Darkmoon can't count...
That's a good point. Although, by that reasoning, it'd be eight. Bunny, Darkie, and Pig are around somewhere.
Point. I'd forgotten Pig...
CVRPG#897.1: "rest fo the" => "rest of the", "I'll but the first round" => "I'll buy the first round"
SF#64.2: excell => excel
Oh no... your avatar...
llearch's gone native!
... which one?
Quote from: llearch n'n'daCorna on November 21, 2008, 07:12:04 AM
... which one?
The Turnsky one, I'd wager.
(http://llearch.net/me/llearchav.png)
It's either that or the Ink one:
(http://llearch.net/me/it_ermine_av.jpg)
Turnsky.
Your "recent updates" page is missing the 25th - strip 899...
Thanks. I'm not sure what happened there...
CVRPG#907.2: concusions => concussions
CVRPG#910.1: ense => sense
It just makes sense. ;-]
(on the upside, you've got SF right eight times in a row...)
I can spell. What an accomplishment.
It's not your spelling that's at fault, it's your typing ;-]
Yeah... well... it's your mom's fault. :p
CVRPG#937.5: ceamic => ceramic
CVRPG#937.6: This enabling => Thus enabling
SF#82.2: daught => daughter, sorcereress => sorceress, you autograph => your autograph
Not your week, D?
Fuck fuck fuck... apparently not.
SF#84.3: gonan => gonna
BT#01.1: D appears to be missing the word "daughter" from his second sentence.
... and you shoulda called it "bunny story", so the abbreviation is bullshit... ;-]
I liked the homonym better. ;)
Sups#065: The Industrial World Is Watching.
Panel 4: He's is gone - He is gone.
Other than that... what the hell _is_ that sprite?
hahaha, it's a base I found once, long ago. I just colored it blue.

CVRPG#995.1: matter => manner - at least, technically speaking. You may or may not wish to care. ;-]
CVRPG#996.1: eastate => estate
I like eastate. Because, you know, it's an estate... in the east. ;p
CVRPG#999.1: know => knows
Sorry for the delay...
CVRPG#1000d.1: priciple => principle
BT#33.1: have => having
"I'm not sure I feel comfortable just have my way with some random barmaid."
CVRPG#100e.1: predetrmined => predetermined
CVRPG#100e.4: of => off (Angel)
Well, if I can remember to take care of that tonight, I'll fix it. No guarantee, though... O_o
/me shrugs
No pressure. I merely list the errors, not request they be fixed. ;-]
BT#47.3: later => latter
as in, "I like to think the latter."
BT#64.1: fenagle => finagle
I have barely any idea what the word means, but...
It was spelled right. I looked it up on Dictionary.com and it was the exact word I wanted with the exact meaning. It's Yiddish, fyi.
Oh. Well, go figure.
I don't claim to be any great shakes at yiddish, oy vey. ;-]
BT#75.1: vinatge => vintage
D's last line.
Incidentally, the whole lockpick thing can be resolved very easily. Next page "Hey, we've been here for two hours. When are you going to get that door open?" type thing...
Eh, I just figured it was a crappy lock. Dracula can afford a better class of locksmith than some local tavernkeeper.
That works, too.
CVRPG#1069.1: pairing => paring - the former is grouping by two, the latter is removing slices...
CVRPG#1069.2: setup => set up
BT#81.1: We you => Well you
In Black Mage's second speech bubble...
Yepper, just saw that. Thankfully I found a place with WiFi, so I can fix that this afternoon before I have to head back into the deadzone.
MD#02.1: throuigh => through
Frankie's second paragraph...
CVRPG#1073.1: thing => things
D's last sentence in the frame...
Also, businessmen is usually a single word, although it's allowable as two. (Princess, first paragraph)
Six of one, half dozen of the other...
CVRPG#1076.3: thier => their (D, first paragraph)
CVRPG#1078.3: cermony => ceremony, suppoed => supposed.
CVRPG#1080.3: missing "me" on the last line.
MD#03.1: see => seem
CVRPG#1084.2: lovers => lovers', jist => gist (I think, and FF appears to agree with me)
CVRPG#1084.3: Occasions attemots => Occasional attempts, does => done, intemvention => intervention
Fucking hell, I really fucked that one up.
Well, it might be internvention, I can't tell. RN looks just like M to me, in lower case, in that font. I think the glow process merges them, or something.
It's probably also a spacing thing...
CVRPG#1090.2: heardier => hardier
CVRPG#1093.2: competative => competitive
BT#100.1: while => whole, Cresent => Crescent
Also: Mayor's wife? *snicker*
Good, glad you liked. I wasn't even sure that joke played. ;)
CVRPG#1096.2: manions => mansion - D's speech.
... One wonders if D is going to raise Dracula to get rid of Raye...
One must wonder why I can't write correctly...

Ooo, this is a good one.
CVRPG#1100.2: plain => plane, this. => this?, everpresent => omnipresent, "fine, then" => "fine, then,", so => some
Omnipresent is a bit iffy, mind. You can get away with ever present, but if you're looking for a single word, then omnipresent is the one.
CVRPG#1109.2: enchanments => enchantments
BT#109: "I have to learn to trust your instincts" ? While that sounds a lot like Darkmoon, it might not be what you meant... ;-]
CVRPG#1112.3: and => an (DM's third sentence)
CVRPG#1112.4: earger => eager
"Thus why I'm buying fire magic." "ah." *giggle*
Halloween special: aren'r => aren't (Princess, at the end)
Yeah. Noun issue with Darkmoon.
CVRPG#1124.uh...: immediatly => immediately, limmerick => limerick
I did think coliseum was mis-spelt, but it turns out I was wrong.
Also, awkward frostbite. *snicker*
Yeah, I hate that word. It's difficult to spell, to the point that I actually see it spelled wrong (consistently) in many video games. There must be an alternate spelling of it that is "accepted" even if it isn't correct.
BT#118: Darkmoon's last bubble has an extra word in it - either have or are, I'm not sure which you want.
CVRPG#1130.1: jyst => just
CVRPG#1134.2: wouldn => would
CVRPG#1134.3: presmis => premise

CVRPG#1146.1: manager => manage
CVRPG#1149.1: enduced => induced
CVRGP#1154: in D's first paragraph, he says "and" where he should say "or" - "and head off into the trees" is the part...
CVRGP#1154: inapproprite => inappropriate
BT#142: trhowing => throwing (first bubble, second line), bout => about (fourth line).
Can we post the typos on the site here too?
Behind the scenes->characters:
-"Darkmoon can never lose is soul"
-"That bunny was a weird, magical creature than knew[...]"
-"Darkmoon almost always ended up svaing the group"
-"and (presumably) was wasn't chased out of her home town when hermagoc first manifested."
-"Katrina did not have any, specific, magic focus." (It may be just me, but those commas seem out of place.)
-"In the game, Eden appear one day"
-"Shiek": isn't it "Sheik"?
That's it for now.
Excellent, thanks.
And yeah, any typos you find, anywhere, feel free to post them.
Ok, then! On the LTFAQ section:
"For the record, the CVRPG arc "Castlevania RPG Gaiden" was planned to be a game. A friends (and fan of the site) developed a little demo of Darkmoon fighting Dracula (that I raelly should post, one day, on here), and it spawned that idea. It ws always supposed to be bother a game and a story arc, that way people that couldn't play through the game would get a version of the story."
"The game, though would have had a slightly different story" <- I think there should be a comma after "though".
...
Do you really lose track of people for a reason? >_>
Not very many, but you know... some people just get annoying over time.
Not that I'm implying anyone here has done so. ;)
Thanks for the typo help!
You're welcome!
Oh, two more, on the comic:
CVRPG #1171: 'I did play a little fast-and-loose with e history.'

...so you won't feel like we would be piling on if we all make note of errors?
I did a quick archive-dive a bit ago, but soon plan to go through the archive a bit more attentively. Not to find errors, but since this is my only exposure to Castlevania I figured I should be acquainted to its continuity at the least. I figured if I'm going to do that, I may as well flag stuff for you as long as it is what you want done.
Mind you, your story lines and humor stand alone quite well and I am enjoying the comic. I can't help but suspect that there are inside jokes getting past me...
If you're looking to actually get acquainted with real continuity, I'd almost recommend ICVD, except for the fact that half the stuff on there is humor (and the other half are humorous reviews).
The Castlevania Dungeon is a good source for a little light information on the topic.

Maybe. I thought I'd mention it anyway, since it seemed odd. As I've said previously, you're welcome to leave any typos in the comic, I'm merely listing the ones I notice in case you want to correct them. ;-]
Sure sure...

CVRPG: 1207a (Supplemental) About the Gas
Second Panel
Actual Darkmoon Line: "That what is says on my busines cards."
Possible Amended Line: "That what it says on my business cards."
I'm the last person to be pointing out typos, though.
Ah, but was it a funny comic?
Indeed it was, as I was thinking about that particular point.
I actually thought that you were going to use the explanation that since angels are flight capable creatures, like birds they would actually have a greater susceptibility to gas attacks, much in the same way as a canary succumbs to natural gas far quicker than a human of proportional size would. Of course, then I realized I was projecting my own thoughts of angels in one of my abandoned fictional universes to the comic, and realized your punchline wasn't just funnier, but more consistent.

Are you sure about this one. From everything I've read, affect is a verb, effect is an adjective. Even in past tense, things have an effect, as in "he wouldn't have been effected"...
Yes, I'm sure. Affect is a verb. Effect is a noun (also a verb, but with a different meaning). Verbs have a past tense. Nouns do not.
For further details: affected (http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/affected) (there's a link to the verb 'affect'). Also, something which affects something else causes an effect.
Effected (http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/effected) has a completely different meaning, and an interesting explanation.
/me agrees with Gabi, on this one.
Incidentally: the two you're leaving, I'm fine with, because it's all down to you. If you deliberately want that particular line to be wrong, then who am I to tell you otherwise? ;-]
... I'm sure we've talked about this before, but this is in public, now.
Well, not public public.
For what it's worth, I took the 'lo' as Darkmoon intended it in BT #160 . Which raises the point as to why I decided not to go behind Darkmoon and attempt correcting spelling or grammar. I'm not that good at it, I hate to be second guessing the author's intent, and more importantly, my observation has been that Gabi, Destina Faroda, and Llearch are far more capable and I feel like a fifth wheel.
Fifth wheels are very useful. You'll realize it if you ever get a puncture on the road.
I must be a fifth wheel with a hole, because you pointed out a mistake in a line that I had went over but completely missed. I fail at proofreading.

Any time I leave an error, it's for the conversation to sound natural, slang and cadence.

Sorry, it was DSWC Villains: Intro 4.
But on Intro 5 it says "effect" where it should say "affect".
Okay, I need to know what speech bubbles you're looking at, cause I read over both Intro 4 and Intro 5 of the villains arcs, and I don't see any of the typos you're talking about, Gabi.

A tricky one to translate, though. Much of it revolves around preconceptions and historical precedents. Which... would be totally different in Spain. Or anywhere else, for that matter...

Yeah, all the villains comic commentaries will have to be looked over. the old quotes are causing the "e; issue. Sucky.
The issue related to the way the database posts the comics. It goes by date & time, and the time (right at daylight savings) skipped back an hour, causing two comics to have the same post date -- something that causes the server to hack and die.
Wow. O_o Yet another reason for me to dislike daylight savings. I'm glad we don't have them here. Or rather, we have them, but they're permanent, so we don't have to change our clocks.

Oh, there's another "definately" on CVRPG #286. I rarely re-read such old CVRPG strips, but I felt like hopping through the archive today, it being something I can still do on such a hot summer day.
I missed this before. CVRPG #845 and DSWC #298: "persceptive"=>"perceptive"

And wasn't Alucard still around? Although he and Hanz weren't on the best of terms.
And what about Thereshiri?
Thereshiri is doing her own thing with Frankie. And Alucard is a dark and gloomy loner, always sitting with his dark and troubled soul... usually around some blonds.
*Laughs.* That reminds me of Dracula Mystery Club. Come to think of it, he'd fit in there quite well.

Actually, Amen is one of the many spelling for that god. Apparently, Amun is the one Wikipedia uses, but all are accepted (probably because it's an Anglicized version of the word).
English tends to have a "one true spelling" concept; many of the islamic-area languages don't.
I'm not really sure _why_ this is, yet. I'm of the opinion that it's because they have a long history of low education and verbal traditions, and a much shorter recent "educated" history, compared to, say, the UK. But that's just a theory, and may well be totally incorrect.
In any case, the pronounciation of ancient Egyptian is lost to history, so I guess we will never know what the original name was. :\
I'm going to go with... "Carl".
Also, I was always taught in school to spell it Amen Ra... so apparently everyone is wrong. ;)

If I recall correctly from my history lessons, Hitler founded the Nazi party. The "socialist" part was in the name because socialists had been winning all the recent elections, so they wanted to make themselves look like a more radical alternative while still sounding appealing to most voters. Looks like it worked.
And I assume it was a joke, but if the FBI does track down anyone who wants to learn about the world's history, then your country's even scarier than I thought.
See, that's the thing. Five years ago I would have laughed of the thought of the FBI tracking what people search for. Now, though, while I doubt they care what I search for, I also don't want to push it.

Comments on Click2 will only show up on the Click2 site. It's good to fix them there, though, since the two databases (Click1 and Click2) are separate now. I actually have to update both to keep the old site running without also falling behind on the new site.

Holy crap!
Edit: In reference to 2011, in British English, learnt and learned can be used interchangeably, although common use would dictate "learnt" over "learned" in a sentence such as this. However, in American English (that which the author uses ;) ), "learnt" is not a word.
Edit 2: Only took me an hour to get through all that. ;)

Cool! Because it took me 2 hours to make those lists.
CVRPG #2071: "Dark

By the way, on the access website, the Villains button says #426, but the link points to #11 from the mini-arc.
And http://click2.cvrpg.com redirects me to http://bianca.rcsipublishing.com/.
Yeah, the comic thumbnails and the recent updates pages are keyed to the archives for main site, not the private side. I'll talk to myu server guy and see if he's thought up a fix for them yet. ;)
click2.cvrpg.com was just the placeholder for the refresh of the site. If you want to get into the admin side now, just go to www.cvrpg.com/admin. ;)
Ah, thank you! ^_^
Holidays Epilogue: "it's been done"=>"It's been done"
Holidays January 2nd: "prediliction"=>"predilection"
"a births"=>"at births"

title: "Additionaly"=>"Additional"
You were able to see those already?
From the admin side, yes.
And on that note,
Holidays April 21st: "You delivery"=>"You deliver"
Although if you prefer, I can refrain from checking those until they reach the access site.
No, I'm totally good with you checkin it ahead of time. I just didn't realize you could. ;)
See, this is what I get for now exploring the admin area.
Sorry I haven't made any comments this year. My thesis has taken over my whole life.
Nevertheless, I decided it was high time to start making efforts to catch up, so I've at least caught up with the holiday comics! And hey, only 2 typos!
Holidays 2014/05/01: "Idle hand are"=>"Idle hands are"
Holidays 2014/07/01: "Then i think" => "Then I Think"
I was starting to wonder, but I figured you'd catch up eventually.
Thanks for your trust. :)
OK, I've covered DQ (no significant typos found!), and then started checking the main series.
I'm only just done with the January Q/A, but here's what I've found so far.
#2046: "prima nocta"=>"prima nocta."
#2074: "we think it probably time to retire."=>"we think it's probably time to retire."
I suppose "I am become death" in "And also: space!" (2014/01/07) is intentional.
O hai space! subtitle: "Honesetly"=>"Honestly"
"Angel has needs, And not just sexy needs"=>Either change the "," for a "." or the "A" for an "a".
"These are thing"=>"These are things"
"violet expulsion of said air"=>"violent expulsion of said air"

OK, February typos!
#2085: "what's the word for it."=>"what's the word for it?"
#2086: "check his rooms"=>"check his room" Or does he have more than one?
#2087: this one says "rooms" instead of "room" too. Is "rooms" a synonym of "room" or something?
#2088: "office hours are about the end-" Sounds weird. I can't imagine how the sentence would end. The end of what?
#2089: "marachino cherry"=>"maraschino cherry"

#2100 subtitle: "The drink and they mine"=>"They drink and they mine"
"Now I am become death..." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J._Robert_Oppenheimer ;)
I think, in 2086, I was trying to imply they rented out some suites. Alec would have "rooms" in that respect. Princess travels in style. ;)
Comic 2088: "Office hours are about to end." My bad.
Ah, good.
Here comes March!

#2227: "thiis place"=>"this place"
And with this, I've finally caught up! :grin
Rock on. I was caught up through yesterday's postings, so I should have this processed tonight. Thanks!
Don't forget about DSWC and Villains, which have both just started back up.
(EDIT: And aaaaaalll caught up!)
Yay! ^_^
OK, other series...
Holidays - The Summer War part 1: "I didn't realize I have"=>"I didn't realize I had"
Holidays - The Summer War part 5 subtitle: "Liek all vampires"=>"Like all vampires"
And this is not a typo, but it's a weird contradiction:
DSWC Heroes 2014/08/27: "No refunds. If not completely satisfied, return unused portion for a full refund." Huh? @_@
I'll see if I can check the future comics now (for some reason I can see them for the two DSWC stories but not for CVRPG).
Edit: done!
Villains 2014-09-06: I'm more what than you are? The text is too blurry. Looks like "commitled", but it may be just a blurry t that looks like an l. And I originally read "sacrificed" for some reason.
Villains #530: "With what, if I may be so bold."=>"With what, if I may be so bold?"
Villains #536: "One of those day"=>"One of those days" (And yes, I had to check twice to make sure it was Villains).
Villains #537: "I'm am."=>"I am."
Heroes #547: "when I'm volunteering for the job."=>"when I'm volunteering for the job?"
Heroes #548: "Where have I heard that before."=>"Where have I heard that before?"
Heroes #549: "irradicate"=>"erradicate"
Villains #549: "A warrant our for his arrest"=>"A warrant out for his arrest"
Heroes... #550?: "They sometime will"=>"They sometimes will"
Villains... #550?: "the can occur"=>"that can occur"
Villains #554: "the larva"=>"the larvae"
Heroes #556: "got controll"=>"got control" (although he was explaining why he was working for trolls, so...)
Villains #556: "No you aren't you're"=>"No you aren't, you're"
And heroes #556 had somehow ended up in the Villains archive, but I've moved it to the Heroes archive now.
There's no future CVRPGs right now. I fell behind on the backlog, so while I have the dates setup for the backlog, I don't have any comics in there right now. ;)

Which comic is Villains 2014-09-06? I can't find the typos you're talking about.
I'm not even sure it's a typo, it may be that the second t looks like an l because of how tiny the font is. It's the movie poster. The one that went public today, in fact. At the bottom. Where it says "If you're still reading this, you're more committed than we are."
It's just really really small. I didn't expect anyone other than you to read it. ;)
Hehe. I'm glad to know you trusted me to do it. ;)
Holidays Summer War 11: "powewrful"=>"powerful"
CVRPG #2236 subtitle: "That's a tough question.."=>"That's a tough question..."
And I suppose the horrible grammar at the end of Holidays Summer War 19 was intentional.
I can't access the click2 site, I'm not sure whether it's because I'm at university or something's wrong with the site itself. I wanted to fix a couple of commentaries. I'm being redirected to http://bianca.rcsipublishing.com.
Just use www.cvrpg.com/admin. That would work for ya. ;)
EDIT: And yeah, the grammar was intentional. It's part of the accent.
Thanks, but I guess it must have been a problem with my university's network or something. That link didn't work there either, but both work when I'm at home. Anyway...
CVRPG #2238: "Bucakw"=>"Buckaw"
CVRPG #2242: "hehind"=>"behind"
CVRPG #2243: "why she though"=>"why she thought"
Holidays Summer War #24: "teo beds"=>"two beds"
Holidays Summer War #25: "possesed"=>"possessed"
Holidays Summer War Aftermath 1: "letting out magic grow"=>"letting our magic grow"
Holidays Summer War Aftermath 2: "I'm blow him away"=>"I'll blow him away"
CVRPG #2247: "somehow leard"=>"somehow learned"
Holidays: Autumn is here: "busines"=>"business"
(By the way, the equinox is today, so... Happy Autumn?)
hahaha, Happy Autumn.
Spring for me. :)
And Shana Tova!
Indeed. ;)
Just fyi, I have a new laptop and the keyboard is a little more touchy than the old one -- if I don't hit a key square on, it won't register the hit (even if I think I hit it). As such, with as fast as I type, I'm expecting there to be more typos than before.
CVRPG #2251 subtitle: "a bg, confused mess"=>"a big, confused mess"
CVRPG #2258: "ad report what happened"=>"and report what happened" (I sent this last night but it seems it didn't go through).
CVRPG #2259: "maing good progress"=>"making good progress"
Yup, like I said, this keyboard is gonna take come getting used to.
That's OK. I do wonder what your new keyboard is like, though. In the meantime...
CVRPG #2260: "chauvanistic"=>"chauvinistic"
"for selfish reason"=>either "for a selfish reason" or "for selfish reasons"
"seriosuly"=>"seriously"
"Did you mis"=>"Did you miss"
I got a Lenovo laptop. The computer is great, super powerful, but it has this chicklet tablet that's kinda meh. With as fast as I type, I just have this tendency to half-miss keys -- on a normal keyboard it's fine, but on this keyboard, what feels like a "hit" doesn't track as a hit.
Oh. OK...
CVRPG #2261: "Alec, what have you figured out."=>"Alec, what have you figured out?"
"a strong posibility"=>"a strong possibility"
"thtat fist thing"=>"that fist thing"
CVRPG #2262: "If she thought we hadn't tried that"=>"If she thought we had tried that" or "If she didn't think we hadn't tried that"
CVRPG #2265: "what are you doing here ."=>"what are you doing here ?"
"wth a breathable atmosphere"=>"with a breathable atmosphere"
By the way, do you read the comments people post on the comic pages?
I go back through from time to time. I try not to stalk them. ;)
:)
#2270: "if we cant"=>"if we can't"
"short cut the system"=>"shortcut the system"
CVRPG #2271: "it far from likely"=>"is far from likely"
"rfit in time and space"=>"rift in time and space"
"untolds amount"=>"untold amounts"
Geh!
CVRPG #2272: "we didnt consider this"=>"we didn't consider this"
Holidays SOTW 2 title: "equl"=>"equal"
CVRPG #2275: "Are you guys coming."=>"Are you guys coming?"
Heroes #557: "youll have to pencil that in"=>"you'll have to pencil that in"
SOTW #10: "Well when"=>"Well, when"
Villains #560: "I will guide your through"=>"I will guide you through"
Cool, I'm glad you noticed DSWC was updating regularly again (and ahead of schedule). ;)
FYI, when I have time I'm going to write up notes for a CVRPG board game. I'll post a link to them here first so you can check them over for typos.
Oh, cool! :) Let me know when they're up.

CVRPG #2286: "items that coud be"=>"items that could be"
Heroes #566: "climcatic"=>"climactic"

Villains #567: "you;ll be"=>"you'll be"
CVRPG #2293: "I say let him"=>"I say let him."
CVRPG #2294: "I was just raise"=>"I was just raised"
Heroes #573: "aloed"=>"allowed" (Or does he need an aloe to make a posting? O.o)
By the way, there are Pokemon sprites of many different sizes. (and Pokemon themselves come in hugely different sizes too) Try searching on Google images, I'm sure you'll find some you can use. Or, if you need a Pokemon of a specific height, let me know and I'll dig one up for you.
I don't have any specifically in mind. Most of the battle sprites I saw were huge, which didn't work, but if there's a game with sprites of a more "active" nature (I know Pokemon has a bunch of side-story games), I'll check and see if I can find those specifically. I'm just operating at a complete deficit here since I've never played any of the games.
Which is silly since I'm doing a pokemon plotline. That was poor planning on my part.
Well, if you need any help with that, just let me know. I have played many of the games and I'm an admin at a Pokemon forum, so I can probably help.
Villains #576: you uploaded Heroes #576 instead.

Perfect. Which game would you recommend I look at for active pokemon sprites? Something from the GBA or DS would be ideal (the art-style would work in-comic).
Edit: Actually, I might just have found a good source. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon.
Oh, cool! :)
Villains #576 (now for real): "It a dead magic."=>"It's a dead magic."
Villains #577: "Poemon"=>"Pokemon"
Did you pick a legendary Pokemon on purpose?
Heroes #577: "Beath"=>"Death"
"How to do we find Death"=>"How do we find Death"
There are legendary pokemon?
XD Yes, there are. They're much harder to catch, there's at most one of each kind in each game, you can't breed them and they have very powerful moves and very high stats. So, basically... consider Blackula screwed unless his bunny can somehow throw big rocks at it, shoot a powerful fire blast or summon lightning (that bird - Articuno - is an Ice/Flying type, you can bring it down with rocks, fire or lightning but you have to hit it hard because it has high defensive stats; rocks work best).
In case you'd like to use it, here's more info: http://serebii.net/pokedex-xy/144.shtml
Heh, good to know. To be fair, though, I was gonna have Blacula cheat and his powers are lightning and fire based. Very convenient.
Glad to help. :)
Holidays #139 subtitle: "Tking names"=>"Taking names"? I still don't get it, though. :-/
Kicking ass and taking names.
Ah, thanks. :)
As for the Pokemon battle, usually trainers call out their attacks before anything happens, but in tournament battles there's a time limit. I wouldn't find it too weird for a trainer to attack if his/her opponent takes too long to decide what to do.
lol. Too many rules.
Hey, it's a strategy game!
But I was basically saying it's OK for the boy to get tired of waiting and attack.
Holidays #144: "Screw ths."=>"Screw this."
In case you didn't notice (although I'm sure you did), I got an extra week's worth of CVRPG loaded in the main archive. Finally had a chance to replenish the backlog.
Yay!
CVRPG #2305: "We can't rust anything we see" => That's probably true, but I think you meant "trust".
CVRPG #2308 "let's you summon"=>"lets you summon"
By the way, yes, stealing/kidnapping other Trainers' Pokemon is illegal (and it's not even possible in the games), but of course Blacula would do it.
He so very would.
Just fyi, Blacula, like Dracula, not Blackula, like the color. ;)
Oops! Sorry. There, fixed.
Aight Gabi, new question: how do you evolve pokemon?
It depends on the Pokemon. Some evolve by levelling up, some by touching a special stone, some by being traded, some by becoming really happy, and some - like the Articuno Blacula stole - do not evolve at all. Since Bunnymon is not a real Pokemon, you can make up how it evolves. :)
Oh, and levels go up to 100, so 20 isn't that much. It's around the level when battles start getting interesting. Articuno's level is probably much higher. It shows up at level 70 in most games, and never at a level lower than than 50.
More typos:
CVRPG #2311 "to know it would digest."=>"to know it would digest?"

2407? I just checked the comics and we aren't up to 2407 yet, nor are any of them mis-numbered.
Oops! Sorry, I meant 2347. But hey, I'm not chain-posting anymore! ;)

Well, I kinda lied a little. There is only one more major chapter, but I actually am going to do an aside when it comes back from hiatus: a prequel telling the story of Richter's two official games in the series, this time with Cornell stitched in, since originally Cornell wasn't in Richter's games.
Ah, well... That should be interesting. I wonder if we'll ever get to see Cornell move like he said he used to before Richter influenced him.

Maybe xenosexual. I doubt it's a word, but it is more accurate. Honestly, that's the kind of comment you could put on the site, let the others debate it out. ;)
#2634: why did the soldier call Admiral Prelude "Sir"?
Far as I'm aware, the military is gender-neutral. Last I knew, female officers were still called "sir" -- at least in the United States military.
#2641/2: Alpha Centauri... B? Wouldn't that be Beta Centauri?
Alpha Centauri is actually three stars in a trinary system -- two large stars orbiting each other in a closer orbit, with Alpha Centauri C, a red dwarf, in a wider orbit. Each star also, presumably has planets around it.

Yes, it was 2772. Where Claypool says "We saw what happened when we try barreling through the front."
I dunno. It's an unusual usage, I grant you, but it still fits in the vernacular.
