Well, when I click on one of the eggs, actually all of them now, I see a message "Egg Stolen on:..."

Ah, that's actually part of the game and means that I stole them from the dragon cave. Alternatively it can say "Egg Laid on:..." when I breed the eggs and don't steal them from the cave.
