A bit longer and more involved then the other games, in this situation you are the captain of a ship that just went down, there are five spots left on the last lifeboat and ten people that need to be saved.

A wealthy widow
a young model
an infant
a politician who passed many unpopular acts
a university professor
a famous artist
the star player on a high school football team
a promising environmental science student
a cancer patient who is recovering
a clergyman

state which five you save, and why you chose them

(1) The infant and (2) widow; women and children first.

If time allows, I'd make the rest draw lots (no idea sex/age of remaining passengers).

If no time to draw lots, hmm...

(3) the promising environmental science student because of the potential to help the human condition

(4) the young model, again going with the idea that the youth has the potential to accomplish something humanitarian with his/her life

(5) me? No just kidding, Capetian captain goes down with the ship... wow, last one is tough... alright, I'd send the a cancer patient who is recovering for the only reason that he/she is the most deserving of the remaining passengers.

There, I did that as quickly as I could and will obviously want to change my answer after some thought and seeing others answers.

But I won't, the life raft is away and the boat is sin...BLUB BLUB BLUB...

I notice that option (me) isn't on there.................


For me, the first two are

(1) the famous artist
and
(2) the university professor.

That stems out of a personal belief that the purpose of humanity is to produce new, original, viable thoughts, and an artist is exactly in the middle of that sort of business. The professor probably is as well, but since the field is unspecified, I had to put him second.

The infant goes third, and the young environmental scientist goes fourth, because both of them have the greatest (at least to my reckoning) potential to accomplish, vis a vis the others.

For number 5............... hard to say, they're all about even. Probably goes to whomever can run to the boat fastest, as I don't have enough information to really differentiate them

1) a young model - besides from probably being hot.. if healthy enough she could make babies (or take care of the one in #2). Has a long life ahead of her *shrugs* we need someone for porn.

2) an infant- because it's our future.. blah blah, perhaps will later go into the porn industry (when of age of course!)

3) star player from high school football team - can help the young model in raising #2 infant.. perhaps aide in porn as well.

4) university professor - just because he's educated (and we need someone to buy the porn)

5) clergyman - we need more seed for more babies to eventually get more porn! (also.. again we need someone to purchase the porn.
