*spritzes Charline with the water bottle*  Down!

I remember when my science teacher came to school, with a spritz bottle, on Halloween.  It was part of her costume as a rain cloud; She had this big cardboard flap around her head that was layered with cotton.  She would go up and spray people (Lightly) and go "Rain cloud! Rain cloud!"

Today's comic kind of connected to me. A guy I know likes me a lot, but even though he's really sweet and a great friend, I just don't like him that way. But on to less serious stuff.

I can picture that too. "And in the news today, webcomic artist Amber Williams has been arrested for allegedly assaulting random individuals with a fire hose. She has not made any comment to the press save for "Rain cloud!", but certain sources suggest that it is merely a Halloween prank."
The Real Myth of Sisyphus:
The itsy-bitsy spider went up the water spout,
Down came the rain and washed the spider out.
Out came the sun and dried up all the rain,
And the itsy-bitsy spider went up the spout again...

Has there been any mention of exactly how old Lorenda is?  I assume that she's younger than Abel and older than Dan or Jyrras, but that leaves an awful lot of room.  Maybe they can go on a date in twenty years.

I can only claim that I was really tired last night and missed the obvious.

Looked at her cast page?

It says she's 24. That makes her younger than Dan, but older than Jyrras.

I'm fairly certain that I'm the only guy in the world who cares if his date is younger than him, and even I would make one or two exceptions.

Isn't Charline technically a kind of tentacle-monster?

So then Jy's locked up with Charline?   :erk  He won't last long!

I'll save him! Charline won't kill me! Though I wish she would..... *spreads his wings and flies off to save Jy* What? Flying is much better than walking!

Daw... poor Jy-Jy. Hope that Albanion makes him normal-sized and gorgeous as his curse. Then he wouldn't fit in the same size pants as Nutmeg anymore, which would be the absolute worst thing ever. :]

Um... 'Cubi are energy eaters, wouldn't that include electricity? It might not taste good, or perhaps even not metabolize very well/at all, but it probably wouldn't have nearly the same effect as it would on a Being.

Also, anyone remember Van Hellsing?  ;)

In Furrae, the souls seem more like the old classical animistic idea of the soul, that it's some foggy entity that looks just the person and drives the body's activities and thoughts.

No electricity involved!  Or are the Furrae folk some sort of hybrid of that idea?

Hmm... Ok Amber, it's time for a Furrae Physiology side arc.   >:3

*watches as everyone quickly flips the pages to the 'reproductive physiology' section*  F#$%-ing furverts!   D:<

Aww, I thought Lorenda had gotten over this already...
I almost can't believe Lorenda could be that shallow. Love does not recognize any barrier of any kind, be it size, species, family, ect.

He was probably the size of a bug to her, and yet, not only did he manage to marry her, they had kids together! :P

That's about what I was thinking, especially with the patch route available (that a change in his appearance would be changing who he is seems like a stretch), but...

Anyway, guess it's more than height.  Exactly what that is, we may never know for sure.
