... On the other hand, maybe Lorenda might ask him to help things, uhm, enlarge a bit (assuming she wants that, and you get the feeling that she does).

But what if they ( AHEM ) grow at the normal rate later ...

Oooo, I hadn't thought of that.  Jyrras develops the "Best Patch! Wing Size Enlargement!" (thanks Tezkat, that was perfect) and it works on Lorenda, and then her wing continue to grow to a huge, embarrassing size, making her a freak and outcast, and except among deviants with a "Big-Wing Fetish".

That would be unexpected, and funny, and Amber probably already thought of it, and now has to come up with something even better.  It's people like you who make her job harder.

This is odd even for Kira. so it seems we only get more questions.

If it's a patch, she could just, you know, take it off. That's what makes patches so cool.

Otherwise they'd be really neat, but being instantly reversible makes them *so* cool. I totally want like a dozen of them.

Zedd

Not even can argue the coolness...That is a splender to have wings...

Yes I went there Mana :P

This would be something new.  Nothing says that, even if it was a patch, it would be reversible.

It could make Jyrras even more money, of course, and maybe even have him appearing on late-night Viagra/Cialis-like TV commercials with soft music and satisfied-looking winged couples engaging in wholesome hand-holding activities.

I wonder if there are any side effects to wearing more then one patch at a time.

I imagine there would be, two patches conflicting with each other might turn you into some horribly deformed monster-thing...

Jyrras is probably smarter than that.

Maybe they cancel each other out?

GabrielsThoughts

maybe it was a side effect of using the catgirl patch!

There was exactly one case of a patch not instantly reversing when you took it off, and that was the prototype generic-use patch that turned Dan into a human.

Dan's headwing patch, Azlan's 'not a fairy' patch, Jyrras' not-so-tall dark and handsome patch, all turned off instantly. Seems like the default behavior to me...

In my experience DosBox .63 and higher is reasonably fast except for certain action games and .70 might fix that with the new dynamic floating point capability.  As far as I know it's only slow if you aren't running it with enough cycles or are running it on non x86 architecture (Mac).

I'm partial to Dfend to speed up the whole configuration process.

I'm quite sure that ScummVM gets it done much easier, but go ahead.  :U

Maybe you should read the threads you're supposed to be moderating.  Especially when you are ignoring what other mods are saying:

Quote from: Amber Williams on April 06, 2007, 03:35:21 AMMason has tried the Scummvm program before...thats actually where his problems are coming from.  He managed to get it to "run", and some sounds work...but the sound seems to keep messing up.  I guess at certain parts of the game there are different notes and dialogue but oftentimes only one note will play followed by silence.

Yeah, if SCUMMVM doesn't work, Dosbox is your best bet.  You might want to doublecheck to make sure that a new release of SCUMMVM hasn't fixed it, but I probably wouldn't.

Actually, that's where I get into a lot of trouble.  I try to be an early adopter, but when the version 0.00001.00085β doesn't work perfectly, I abandon it, and when, years later, someone tells me that V5.105.27 works great, I dismiss it because I've already tried it.

I already read it ,you guitar noob.  :U

Seriously, if LOOM, one of LA's most popular games didn't work for a majority of the players, I'm sure there would have been a mentioning on the site. Either that, or they fixed it. TRY IT AGAIN. (and again, and again!)  :3

You mean like No sound in loom!?  Or Loom Sound Problems?  Or...well, you get the idea.  Looks like SCUMMVM 9.0 worked with Loom, but 9.1 b0rked it.

So Amber can downgrade to 9.0 and it should work, or she can rip the tracks from the CD (see link one) and it should work, or she can use Dosbox and it should work.  I'd be equally likely to use any of those, myself.

I only use DosBox for Indy 500: The Simulation, which, incidentally, is a BADASS game.

Just a wee thought:  if Wildy should see the lil wings, I wonder if it'll trigger a repeat of the "Just my size" comment she made to Dan about his head wings... and the cleaver.   >:3
Three's a crowd:  One lordly leonine of the Leyjon, one cruel and cunning cubi goddess, and one utterly doomed human stuck between them.

ooooo...that would be interesting, but already done.  Plus i don't think they're that close.  But still a funny thought  :giggle

O, and what Kria said, I was thinking the same thing... :3  Can't wait to see what happens next!  :eager >:]  :goamber

And now we have a dear Abbie situation here . That is " Abbie Normal "

Madmann135

Well... me personally I think her wings are probably full sized.  But if they did pop out early then they may be a bit undersized.

All in all the small wings could be like a fashion statement (like my avatar and his armor).  For Lorenda she manages to pull the small back wings off pretty well considering she's probably a little to hefty to properly fly under her own power.

Yes, I do post just to see my own words on the screen.

kaskar

Of course this isn't usual to happen. Maybe a week or two, or an extra squeeze of the corset will tell . Then , instead of hiking trips, Kria could train Lorenda to do flying trips , or would that be too much of a long haul ?
