Dragon Quest VIII

first of let me start by saying this is a good game, The characters all have there distinct personality, the enemies are a little childish but what is to expect from 3-d cartoons, the art is good the landscape on the other hand is lackluster but still, the graphics engine they chose for this was superb, this is cel shading at its best, the battle system takes some getting used to, due to the fact you can increase damage by inducing tension upon your characters which greatly helps when you get farther in the game. Magic is a force in this game that will help you, they could have put more effort to make it look nicer, but what the hell..

the voice acting at times is real crap, but it keeps you intrigued until the text stops. the main actors all seem to be Britain, not that it bothers me I enjoy it.

I had heard mixed reviews on that game. Some liked it, others thought it was much too repetative. Huh...

And yeah, that was weirdly grammatically correct and shiz.

Not as yet. Never really got too far into the DW series, although they were fun for a spell at a time.

This game got perfect scores in several magazines, and I liked it alot. The Final Fantasy XII demo was a nice bonus too.

That FFXII sucked there was no story I expect some story when I play demos.

I haven't really dug an FF game since like... 7, and even then, it was a convoluted mess...

that game brought up the Hellsing english dubs. coulda been crappier. if you have not seen crappy.... omg. please do me a favor and stay away from anything shown on CN (except bobobo. that is supposed to sound like crap because it doesn't make any sense. besides, anything that does not make a single shred of sense and is not serious is supposed to be so. that causes it to have an undead effect.) because they chopped up the best anime, although i am not as fond of Naruto or One Piece. but DQ VIII was pretty good. puzzles bothered the hell out of me, and the FFXII demo was great. bu the only reason why i complain is because of Toriyama's presence.
