Abel: I'm going to do something I probably should not do.
Dan, would you give Pyroduck your mother's book?

Abel: Turn to a page at random and read.

Pyroduck: ::flip, flip, flip::   ::read, read, read::

Pyroduck: Suddenly, I am a lot more sympathetic for my relatives' actions.

With regards,
Ted

Someday, when we look back on this, we'll both laugh nervously and change the subject. More is good. All is better.

Understanding your enemy is an important step toward destroying him.  :mwaha

Which would you like to be, ignorant or misled?

That's right kids, because knowing is half the battle *sagely walks away*

And destroying your enemy is the key to making more enemies  >:3

Sinking into somnolence is good after destroying your enemy as well.

Why would Abel want to help Pyroduck with anything short of off a cliff?

llearch n'n'daCorna

You know, the first time I read through the topic, I went "uh... forging? As in, making a fake?"

I'm still not sure that wasn't what was originally intended...

... i would counter that argument that Pyro has wings, and, even if it's not elegantly, he could probably still glide, if not outright fly...

Wouldn't it be more like, Abel helping Pyro into the spinning blade of a band-saw?  Or, perhaps into the proper placement of a Rube Goldberg of death... Ala Final Destination and it's horrible and obnoxiously predictable, and not scary in any way shape or form, sequels....

but... perhaps that's just me over-analyzing...

i'm picturing two things: one, Abel and Pyroduck being 'civil' over a cup of tea.
two: that 'civility over tea' breaks down into the classic warner bros gag as soon as "one lump or two?" is uttered.  >:3

*mallets ensue*

Dragons, it's what's for dinner... with gravy and potatoes, YUM!
Sparta? no, you should've taken that right at albuquerque..

I find it quite possible that the Destania's book would have chapters on pain and suffering caused by other races.  In that case, reading her book would simply convince him that most races are capable of cruelty, assuming that he didn't already hold that belief.
Learn to laugh at yourself, and you will never be without a source of amusement.

I hope you've learned your lesson.

And that's how Tapewolf learned not to have faith in people he meets on the internet.
